We’re very pleased to announce our latest installment of CYP’s Training Academy, which focusses on Video over IP Technology.

The course is a FREE, 1-Day training course aimed at AV installers and integrators to provide a comprehensive understanding of Video over IP Technology, including insight into speciftying projects, liasing with clients’ IT professionals, the installation process, troubleshooting, and how to acheive the best results when integrating this technology.

The course comprises a balance of structured presentations, interactive demonstrations with planty of hands-on experience, plus a Q&A to ensure you have everything you need to know about Video-over-IP.

Delegate Achievements:

  • Understand the framework of networking using the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model.
  • Understand the basic concept of Ethernet to transmit 4K video signals.
  • Understand the complex interactions that happen in an Ethernet installation.
  • Understand what IP is, its importance and where it fits into a system framework.
  • Ability to practically troubleshoot IP issues as they arise in the field.
  • Understand Multicast technology and its counterpart layer-three protocol IGMP (Internet Group Management Protocol).
  • Ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of Video-over-IP distribution, such as point-to-point and one-to-many video distribution applications.

Certification

This academy qualifies all attendees for both AVIXA RU and CEDIA CEU renewal points. By attending this 1-day academy delegates will qualify for a total of 3 CTS, 3 CTS-D, 3 CTS-I AVIXA RU points, plus 3 CEDIA CEU points.
